Jio Platforms lists on 28 October while five new IPOs open this week. Check GMP, price band and apply or skip verdict for each issue in one place.
This is about as busy as an IPO week gets. On one side, Jio Platforms finally lists on the exchanges on 28 October, closing out the subscription frenzy we have been tracking for nearly two weeks. On the other side, five fresh issues are opening their doors to investors between 26 and 30 October, spread across financial services, environmental engineering, chemicals, jewellery and specialty steel.
If you are the kind of investor who applies to most issues that come your way, this week needs a plan, not a scramble on the last day. Here is everything lined up, with the numbers that actually matter.
Jio Platforms closed its Rs 30,213 crore issue, India's largest-ever IPO, on 23 October after being fully subscribed within hours of opening. The grey market premium has held in a fairly tight band through the week, trading around Rs 250, which works out to roughly 22 to 23% over the upper price band of Rs 1,119.
That GMP has cooled slightly from its peak of Rs 280 earlier in the subscription window, which is normal once a mega issue gets this much attention, some of the early froth comes out as the listing date approaches. If you still hold an allotment and are deciding what to do on listing day, we have a dedicated plan in our Jio IPO listing day guide, covering the 22% GMP gain and when to sell or hold. For the subscription story itself, our Day 2 live coverage on the 3.16x subscription and allotment odds is worth a read if you missed it, and the knock-on effect on the rupee is explained in how the Jio IPO contributed to the rupee's 8-day winning streak.
Now to the fresh issues. Four of these are mainboard IPOs and open within a day or two of each other, so your capital gets stretched thin if you try to apply to all of them. Here is the lineup in the order they open.
This is a Rs 1,200 crore issue in the price band of Rs 1,585 to Rs 1,665, and it closes on 28 October, the same day Jio lists. The GMP has been modest, around Rs 33 to 35, translating to close to a 2% expected listing gain. That is a thin premium for an issue of this size, suggesting the grey market is not pricing in much of a pop. If you are applying purely for listing gains, this one does not offer much of a cushion.
A Rs 668 crore issue priced between Rs 313 and Rs 330, closing on 29 October. GMP has held around Rs 32, close to a 9.7% premium, which is a healthier number than EAAA's. Environmental and waste-management plays have found decent demand this year given the regulatory push around compliance, and the GMP here reflects that interest.
Priced at Rs 142 to Rs 150 for a Rs 255 crore issue, closing on 29 October. This has the strongest grey market signal of the week, GMP around Rs 38, working out to roughly 25% over the upper band. A quarter of the issue price as premium before the issue has even opened for bidding is a meaningful signal, and it usually draws heavier retail and HNI participation once subscription opens.
A Rs 330.48 crore jewellery sector issue priced at Rs 153 to Rs 162, closing 30 October. GMP sits around Rs 7, about 4.3% premium, fairly muted for a sector that has otherwise seen strong investor appetite this year. We looked at why jewellery companies keep lining up for IPOs in our piece on the gold price connection behind the jewellery IPO rush, and this issue fits that broader pattern even if the GMP itself is not spectacular.
A smaller Rs 183.06 crore issue at Rs 78 to Rs 82, closing 2 November, which technically spills into the following week. GMP is around Rs 8, close to a 9.8% premium. Specialty steel has been a steady, if unglamorous, theme through 2026, benefiting from India's infrastructure and manufacturing push.
| IPO | Price Band | Dates | GMP | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EAAA India Alternatives | Rs 1,585-1,665 | 26-28 Oct | ~2% | Apply for allotment, skip for quick gains |
| SFC Environmental Technologies | Rs 313-330 | 27-29 Oct | ~9.7% | Apply |
| BLS Polymers | Rs 142-150 | 27-29 Oct | ~25.3% | Apply, strongest GMP of the week |
| M.K.Sons Fine Jewels | Rs 153-162 | 28-30 Oct | ~4.3% | Apply cautiously, track Day 2 demand |
| Bombay Coated and Special Steels | Rs 78-82 | 29 Oct-2 Nov | ~9.8% | Apply |
A word of caution before you apply anywhere based on these numbers alone. GMP is an unregulated, informal indicator and it moves daily, sometimes hourly, right up to listing day. BLS Polymers looks like the standout today, but a few days of weak overall sentiment can shrink that gap quickly. If you want a refresher on how much weight to give GMP versus fundamentals, our explainer on whether you can trust grey market premiums is a good starting point, and the mechanics of reading subscription data alongside GMP are covered in how to read Day 1 and Day 2 subscription numbers.
Subscription numbers on Day 2 and Day 3 usually tell you more than the Day 1 GMP does. A weak Day 1 followed by a QIB rush on the last day is a pattern we have seen repeatedly this year, most recently in the NSE IPO, where QIBs rushed in on the final day even as GMP crashed. Do not write off an issue just because the opening GMP looks thin.
Primary market activity has been unusually heavy through October, and this is really an extension of that. We covered the earlier phase of listings in our complete guide to the October IPO pipeline, and a similar five-IPO rush happened just a few weeks back, which we broke down in our note on the earlier IPO flood involving Hero Motors and Jindal. Companies tend to cluster their listings around periods of strong secondary market sentiment, and with the Nifty having just posted its best weekly gain in six months, issuers are using the window while it lasts.
If you are new to IPO investing and feel overwhelmed by five issues opening almost together, start with the basics in our guide on how to apply, lot size and allotment strategy before putting money into any of these.
With limited funds and five issues competing for your attention in a five-day window, prioritise by GMP strength and sector interest rather than trying to apply everywhere. BLS Polymers and Bombay Coated and Special Steels currently show the better grey market numbers among the smaller issues. EAAA India Alternatives, despite its size, has one of the thinner premiums, so it suits investors who want allotment exposure to a large financial services name rather than a quick listing pop. M.K.Sons Fine Jewels is worth watching through its subscription days rather than committing on Day 1 alone.
Keep an eye on daily GMP updates through the week, since four of these five issues overlap in their open and close dates, and allotment timelines will bunch together too. Spreading your demat and bank limits across issues, rather than concentrating everything in one, is the more sensible approach when this many IPOs land in the same week.
Jio Platforms is scheduled to list on 28 October 2026, after closing its subscription window on 23 October.
EAAA India Alternatives, SFC Environmental Technologies, BLS Polymers, M.K.Sons Fine Jewels and Bombay Coated and Special Steels are the five new issues opening this week.
BLS Polymers currently shows the highest grey market premium among the week's new issues, at around 25% over its upper price band.
GMP is an informal, unregulated indicator that changes daily, so it should be read alongside subscription numbers and fundamentals rather than relied on alone.
You can, but with four mainboard issues overlapping in dates, it is more practical to prioritise based on GMP strength and spread your available funds across a few rather than all of them.
